If they released a PS5 that could play PS3-1 games like my old PS3 was able to do, then id buy it asap. Literally thats all i want. If it can run those games with higher resolution and FPS, then it would for sure be the best console.

The ps5 already has Back Compat for PS2 and PS1 digitally, we don't need it for those two. Only ones we need to work for the 5 is just ps3, and that's what we're getting by sony.

IF the PS6 is comming in 2028,never mind 2027 there is NO WAY they will use R-DNA7 UNLESS AMD manages to fully develop and release their tech sooner or even much sooner than current 2 years cycle. There is NO WAY they would provide R-DNA 7 to a console when R-DNA6 is being released or has been freshly released for a PC. Wouldn't be surprised if they decide go with R-DNA 5 with Raytracing modifications from R-DNA 6. I expect rasterisation performance approximately on the RTX7900XTX level, possibly slightly better with Raytracing and Patracing on the level of RTX4090. Before someone corrects me about 4090 RT/PT performance unachievable by 500 or so $ console, remember 1 thing. The techological difference between RTX4090 and PS6 shall be approximately 6 years of AMD tech improvements. AMD is 2 generations behind in RT/PT so nothing unachievable about it. 32gigs of GDDR7X or GDDR8 memory and the CPU likely bellow 9800X3D. 7800X3D or slightly better at best with 2TB of probably PCIEGen 5 or 6 SSD storage, though PCIE4.0 is plenty fast enough already.

Imagine they covered the IO die with an L4 cache, sure nowhere near the latency of on-die cache, but you might be able to get 256MB on there, and the latency to this would be far better than going to RAM. Wouldnt be surprized if some version of the Epyc 4004/4005/4006 came with something like this rather than on-die cache, or maybe alongside on-die cache

I find it mind blowing how this video even got created when Lisa sue and the Radeon team 3 months ago openly said RDNA 4 will be 21GBPS and that RDNA 4 will be on an Advanced node of RDNA 3 so its roughly easy to know the exact performance numbers because they done this many times now so it should be identical to the RDNA 2 advanced node jump which took Nvidia by surprise remember guys it was 60% jump on day one launch and after drivers were figured out we had a 75% performance which finally made them compete with the 30series which was a little late but they still accomplished a literal 2 generation jump which Lisa sue said that RDNA 4 will be that next advance node jump, so were on planet earth are you guys coming up with these comical Fictional numbers on RDNA 4 when we already know them already lol, forgetfulness's or never followed the videos which one?

I would love to go back to AMD but their drivers are becoming a major problem and AMD doesn't really seem to care since this issue has been slowly getting worse since 2020 before that I never really had trouble with AMD and drivers.
